Women's Health and Hospital Midwifery Services
A Certified Nurse Midwife is a registered nurse who has completed a master’s or doctorate degree in nurse midwifery. A CNM provides primary care, well women gynecology throughout the life span, prenatal care, intrapartum or birth services, post partum care, lactation support, and care of newborns and children. Certified Nurse Midwives work in hospitals, birth centers, doctor’s offices, and home birth practices.
